Fly Corona maintains a fleet of training aircraft to FAA part 135 standards, and the fleet is comprised of everything from the awesome Garmin G1000-equipped Cessna Skyhawk SP, to the simple steam-gauge aircraft, and a twin to boot.

All rates listed here are "wet" and include fuel at $3/gal. - price is per 1.0 hour of flight time as recorded on a Hobbs meter. There is no "minimum amount billed", and Hobbs is billed on 0.1 hr increments.

Fly Corona aircraft are commercially insured for all training, business, recreation, and demonstration flights. Aircraft are insured for hull value, and pilot is insured for $1 million liability and $100,000 per passenger liability.

Cessna 17J "Julie"

2006 Skyhawk 172SP / Garmin G1000 Glass Panel
$135 block, $149 retail

Julie is our latest and greatest, incorporating Garmin's awesome G1000 Glass Cockpit, with XM Weather and Music, Terrain, Airspace, 10.4" Color moving map, full solid-state gyro EFIS display, Traffic Information System, Mode S transponder, dual 16W Comms, dual NAV radios, and HSI/RMI representation of VOR1/2 and GPS radials.

There is NO comparison between the G1000 and anything else flying today - this is the new generation of flying safety, pilot information management, and simplicity of control and use.

Still not convinced? Ask the office for a free "Flying the Garmin G1000" training DVD to see how simple it really is! Transitions/checkouts for rental are typically 0.5 - 1.0 hr, with more detailed training available in a 3 hour course.

Beechcraft 182

1962 Debonair B33 / RNAV / Stormscope / Autopilot

A new flier on the line, 182 is one of the few gems you will find in a rental fleet. Sporting KLN80 GPS / RNAV, and great handling and upgraded 260HP engine, this aircraft will get you where you want to go quickly. The easy loading and fuel management make her a comfy XC cruiser as well.

Cessna 94M

Here's a sharp plane -- fully restored in 2009, Cessna 94M arrives with some serious IFR chops, including Garmin 430 WAAS, new P&I, and some super comfy seats. 94M Also boasts of the RAM 160hp engine upgrade, providing a sizeable useful load as well -- the most in our fleet!

Cessna 68U

Skyhawk 172 / TKM-Cessna Digital IFR

68U should be named "old faithful", for her reliable cheerful service. 68U has made more pilots on our flightline than any other, by a wide margin, and continues to represent the fundamental Skyhawk in all of its glory. Basic and functional, with no bells and whistles, 68U cranks out VFR and IFR pilots all year long, with nary a complaint.

Cessna 61Q
