The first step in your aviation training: The private license. The FAA requires you to achieve 40 hours of training before you may test for your license, with the national average suggesting most pilots average 75 hours before achieving their wings! Our own average is closer to the 50-55 hour mark, depending on how often you can train. The Private license can be attained in as little as 4 weeks with an active training schedule!

    Your training will consist of:

20 hours dual instruction (you and your instructor), which includes:
  • 3 hours cross-country flight
  • 3 hours night flight
  • 3 hours flight by instruments
  • 3 hours of checkride preparation

  • Additionally, you will be trained to accomplish the following things on your own (solo):

  • Solo Cross-country flight
  • Towered Airport operations
  • The FAA Written Exam

  • Private Pilot Packages begin at $4,690!
