Fly Corona offers two Demo/First Lesson flights, which are designed to give you a good appreciation for the training environment, our instructors, light aircraft, and what it's like to be behind the wheel of your own flying machine!
ALL Demos have you hands-on, flying the aircraft, with one of our certified Flight Instructors. Sail over our local practice area, Lake Matthews, learn about the safety features of our aircraft, and take to the sky for the adventure of a lifetime!
For something a little more in-depth, head to Santa Catalina Island with one of our instructors, and also learn about the busiest airspace sytem in the world, SoCal Approach Control, and you get to be a part of it -- learning about the system that brings thousands of aircraft per day through our skies safely. It's an experience you will not soon forget!

Over-fly much of Corona and Riverside, and enjoy a flight around the area's best known reservoir - and don't forget to smile at the people stuck in traffic below you! (just like we pilots do every day!)

You will join an instructor on an instrument flight. Starting 15 miles out in simulated clouds, you will bring your aircraft down safely to 200 feet on short final, ready to land!
You will track Paradise VOR into the CNO ILS 26R precision approach, vectored by SoCal, and tracking localizer and glideslope all the way to final - safely and securely.
When you lift your foggles and see the runway paint waiting for you, it all clicks. This rating could save your bacon one day, and this demo will introduce you to the IFR system.
